A red tie made from natural silk, featuring the Deer’s Leap ornament. The design is inspired by a clothing motif of ktetor Apakidze, depicted in a 17th-century fresco of Tsalenjikha Church.
The ornament is part of Giovanni Morra’s Georgian Textile project, which reinterprets motifs preserved in Georgian frescoes, historical clothing and other sources of Georgian textile heritage. This refined historical design brings a distinctive Georgian artistic detail to contemporary formalwear.
