A sky blue pocket square made from jacquard-woven natural silk, featuring the Tholige ornament.
The design is connected to the attire of Queen Mariam Dadiani and her son Otia, where Georgian noble dress meets Eastern ornamental influence. The floral, plant-based ornament is associated with a 17th–18th-century depiction connected to Svetitskhoveli and a copy by Grigory Gagarin.
As part of Giovanni Morra’s Georgian Textile project, this historical Georgian textile motif is reinterpreted as a refined accessory for formalwear. The pocket square is suitable for weddings, celebrations, business attire and other special occasions.
