Petre Otskheli is one of the most important names of Georgian modernism. In a very short life, he helped change the visual language of Georgian theatre and costume design. His work was bold, precise, and ahead of its time — proof that Georgian culture could be deeply local and radically modern at the same time.
This design is part of Giovanni Morra’s Georgia Is Yours collection. It carries the Georgia that creates, experiments, and refuses to stand still. Otskheli was killed during Soviet repression at the age of thirty, but his work remained as a sign of a free creative mind that no regime could erase.
