Pocket Squares - Natural Silk - Deer’s Leap - Red

A red pocket square made from natural silk, featuring the Deer’s Leap ornament.

The design is inspired by an 18th-century Georgian prince’s dress, based on the attire of ktetor Apakidze depicted in a 17th-century fresco of Tsalenjikha Church. The ornament reflects the relationship between Georgian church art, noble clothing and the visual language of its period.

As part of Giovanni Morra’s Textile From Georgia project, this historical Georgian textile motif is reinterpreted as a contemporary accessory for formalwear, weddings, celebrations and other special occasions.
