A red bow tie made from natural silk, featuring the Deer’s Leap ornament. The design is inspired by a clothing motif of ktetor Apakidze, depicted in a 17th-century fresco of Tsalenjikha Church.
The ornament is part of the Georgian Textile project, which reinterprets details preserved in Georgian frescoes, historical clothing and other sources of Georgian textile heritage. Giovanni Morra brings this historical motif into a contemporary accessory for formal outfits, weddings and special occasions.
Finished with an adjustable fastening for a comfortable fit.
