Scarf - Fiery Pheasant - Natural Silk - Blue

“Fiery Pheasant” is inspired by the clothing motifs of a Lipartiani noblewoman preserved in the frescoes of Martvili Cathedral.

Such ornaments were not simply decoration. The form, color, and repeated details on clothing could speak about origin, status, and personal taste. In this design, the historical dress motif takes on a more graphic form — as if a small fragment from a fresco has become an independent sign.

Why “Fiery Pheasant”? The answer is not fully direct. It is hidden in the color, the movement, and the bird-like form that seems to appear in the ornament — and disappear again.
