“Affection” is inspired by the oak acorn ornament from the attire of King George II of Imereti, depicted in the Gelati frescoes. According to the source, a similar motif also appears on the robe of King David the Builder and may have been a local ornament used in royal clothing.
In this design, the historical form becomes brighter and more rhythmic. “Affection” does not speak of love directly; it leaves a softer sense of attachment — to color, movement, and an old ornament.
