Ornaments are inspired by the clothing of Georgian royal family members, ktetors and commanders, portrayed on the frescoes of Georgian Orthodox church. XVII -XVIII Centuries. 

This specific ornament is created using the embroidery motifs found on the clothes of Ktitors, as depicted at the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin in Martvili. XVII century.
